A May afternoon in Vadu Soresti :-)

One of the trails you can follow by walking or by bike (preferably mountain bike)

Stefania and Cristiana volunteered to help the LEISURE&CHINESE team with cleaning the 'room' where our guests are expected

Cristiana (left) and Stefania (right) are saying to you "Welcome!"...

...and they are accompanying you on a virtual trip on a trail that links village Vadu Soresti to village Pruneni, via Nania forest. :-)

Are you ready? Let's go! :-) We chose to start on the road next to the Dispensary. Yes, we do have that in Vadu Soresti and we will let you know its schedule when you arrive here, so you know on what days and during which hours you can hurt yourselves. :-) Or maybe we forget to tell you the dispensary schedule and you also forget to get scrapes or pricks. :-)

In the background: the church from Vadu Soresti

It was 200 years old, but it wanted to show itself to you in a new form, so it burned down in a fire in 2006. This way it can tell you a lot about Romanian traditions and culture.

Across it, the road "Ulita Bisericii"

View to Fundeni, village included in the Zarnesti commune, just like Vadu Soresti
On the horizon you can see the Nania forest
Straight ahead we start climbing down "Coasta lui Gheorghe Dinu"

We are away from Vadu Soresti now. You can still see the church...
We go around the black locust trees next to "Coasta lui Gheorghe Dinu"

We can see the forest now, it heartens us, but it's still far away

"The black locust trees went crazy / from all this spring/ "...a song by Tudor Gheorghe

You can listen to it here:

In the small black locust tree forest which leads us to the pine one, on the edges of the Nania forest

It's not a Fata Morgana, it's really Nania forest! :-)

View from Nania forest to Vadu Soresti

We are getting close to our target! Come on Cristiana, just a bit left now! :-)

Cristiana and Stefy made it! :-)

Next to Nania forest

Stefy learned to fly! :-)

And Cristiana follows closely!

Towards Tufa Mare, the biggest oak tree in the area in older days, used as a lookout in times of war...but it fell down due to human neglect. :-(

But we should enjoy what we have left: for example, the black locust trees! :-)

We are preparing "The Guest House"

But, before entering Nania forest, we take another look at what lies ahead and we see the forest from Zarnesti in all its splendor...

We also look a bit through the grass: even the small butterflies are saying "Welcome!"

Let's go in the tunnel! :-)

We are enjoying the leaf carpeeeeeet!!!!!
Cristiana: "This way!"; Stefy: "No, this way!"

Are there dinosaurs in the forest? ;-)

Cristiana is protecting nature! :-) Let's follow her example!

The Chinese language followed us here. :-)

It isn't nightfall, this is how the light falls at the edge of the forest, at Pruneni

Little trees, little trees...a lot of trees form a forest...
The characters which form the word "forest" 森林 senlin are based on the radical 木mu = wood

"The classroom" from Nania forest - the entrance from Pruneni

At the entrance to Nania forest from Pruneni village
In the courtyard to the left we will have our camp fireeee!!!!!!!! A spot arranged specifically for that, in the forester's courtyard :-)
The dragons probably ate part of the Moon...
Catching out breath on our way home... :-)

Thank you for accompanying us virtually! We will be waiting for you to join us on a real trail! :-)
